Five EU Countries Where Amazon Fees Are Rising in 2026

Posted:
December 2, 2025

EU FBA Fees Are Changing in 2026. Amazon announced major fee updates for all European stores.

This time, the message is not as simple as “fees are going up”. It is a mix of reductions and increases sellers need to absorb. On average, Amazon says European fulfilment fees will drop by £0.15 / €0.17 per unit.

The story Amazon wants sellers to hear:

  • One of their “largest-ever fee reductions”
  • Lower FBA rates for low-price items
  • Referral fee cuts in key categories
  • New caps for Best Deals and Lightning Deals

All true. But here is the part sellers must pay attention to. Fee structures are shifting, not just dropping. Some categories will see meaningful relief. Others will see new cost layers.

What changes on 15 December 2025

  • FBA parcel fees drop by £0.26 / €0.32 in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain
  • Clothing and Accessories referral fees reduced:

- from 8 percent to 5 percent for items up to £15 / €15
- from 15 percent to 10 percent for items between £15–£20 / €15–€20

What changes on 1 February 2026

  • Home Products referral fee drops from 15 percent to 8 percent for items up to £20 / €20
  • Pet Clothing and Food, Grocery and Gourmet, and Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements reduced from 8 percent to 5 percent for items up to £10 / €10
  • Low-Price FBA expands to more categories with reductions of £0.40 / €0.45 per unit
  • Deal caps lower to £200 in the UK, €300 in Germany, and €100 in France, Italy, and Spain

And the part that is easy to miss

Some markets will see fee increases. The Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, and Poland will have higher monthly fees. This includes storage, return-to-seller, and liquidation costs.

The average increase there is £0.02 / €0.02 per unit. Small numbers. Big impact at scale.

What this means for sellers

Fee relief is real. But so is the redistribution of costs across countries and categories.

Profitability will depend on how well sellers:

  • Recalculate true unit economics
  • Adjust pricing by category and marketplace
  • Reevaluate low-price strategies
  • Model margins for 2026 ahead of time

Tiny changes compound. Margins react faster than most sellers do. The sellers who prepare now will win stability later.
