Which is the best? Amazon, Walmart, or eBay?

Amazon, Walmart, eBay. There are so many e-commerce platforms these days where you can start your business. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. And if we can say that eBay is like a massive garage sale, Amazon is the Dubai Mall.

Below you will find the main Amazon pros that make the platform the most preferred online marketplace. And why I do recommend it personally.

  • Traffic: If you sell a very specific, niched product, the majority of Traffic will come from Amazon. Sometimes you reach it organically or with extra PPC efforts.
  • Branding: Branding is one of Amazon’s top priorities, especially in the last couple of years. The platform is constantly launching new features to support brands in building a solid online presence.
  • Scalability: Regardless of the platform you will choose for your business, you need to scale in terms increase your revenue. You can switch between PPC advertising levels and PDP optimization is much easier than on other similar platforms. It is because of all the features that Amazon provides.

Walmart is the closest competitor of Amazon in terms of advantages of the marketplace. It is not as big as Amazon. In some cases, if you are a new business owner and USA-based seller, you don’t have the budget to advertise on Amazon, then Walmart is a very good start because of the lower fees.

Shout out to Norman Farrar, who is the expert on Walmart, and he could give more detailed information about the platform.

In conclusion, If I had to choose again, I would count on Amazon one more time. It gives you most of the Traffic, many opportunities to scale and build your brand, and the features to achieve these goals!
